Joe Jeffery - Base
Joe Jeffery
on upright and electric basses, is a largely
self-taught musician and a native of Delaware. In
addition to the Waterfront Jazz Project, he sings
bass with two Milford based singing groups.
The Meetinghouse Chorale and the First United
Church of Christ (Congregational) Choir. By day he
teaches English in Bridgeport's Central High
School. Despite his disco-era birthdate, Joe has
always found himself surrounded with music of all
eras, and is excited to be a part of this ensemble,
as it explores some of the greatest songwriting of
the 20th century.
